Ron Jaworski and NFL Alumni Celebrate 32nd Annual Celebrity Golf Challenge
Next Year’s Ron Jaworski Celebrity Golf Challenge Scheduled for June 4-5

MOUNT LAUREL, N.J. (November 8, 2016) – Former Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Ron Jaworski united with the NFL Alumni Association to put on the 32nd Annual Ron Jaworski Celebrity Golf Challenge. Jaworski hosted the tournament with the help of his celebrity friends, and generous sponsors to raise money for charity.

Proceeds from the event support Jaws Youth Playbook and the NFL Alumni Association’s “Caring for Kids” and “Caring for Our Own” programs.

“I’m thrilled to be able to unite this great cause with the NFL Alumni Association. Working together has made a bigger impact across the board,” said Ron Jaworski, who serves as Chairman of the Board for the NFL Alumni Foundation.

The 2016 edition of Jaworski’s annual golf event was held at Atlantic City’s Harrah’s Resort and Blue Heron Pines Golf Club June 12-13. The two-day celebration included a Pairings Party featuring food, cocktails, silent and live auctions and a pair of golf tournaments the following day. The celebrity event featured over 50 guests including Doug Pederson, Merril Hoge, Harold Carmichael, Ed (Too Tall) Jones, Will Allen, Donovan McNabb and many more from the sporting and entertainment industries.

“Another successful year, I couldn’t be prouder to have NFL Alumni associated with such a first-class event,” said Joe Pisarcik. “These funds will help our organization support the retired football player community as well as continue our mission of caring for children around the country.”

Jaws Youth Playbook and NFL Alumni also announced today that the 33rd Annual Ron Jaworski Celebrity Golf Challenge will be held June 4-5, 2017 at Harrah’s Resort and Blue Heron Pines Golf Club.

To date, the Ron Jaworski Celebrity Golf Challenge has raised millions of dollars for charitable organizations.
